Rugby Frankreich vs. England
Today was the rugby game France vs. England in the semi finals. And I was sitting in a pub with dozens of French people, lots of Irish and a minority of English ones. The vibes were tremendous. (Ok, until France took the lead in the last ten minutes.)
So as I said I was sitting in Woolshed in the North of Dublin. Gorgeous for any games as it seems. Four meter screens, two hundret people in the main room. (Unfortunately I managed to be there maybe ten minutes before the game began. And it was packed full. So full that they didn’t wanted to let us in before the second half of the game. Thanks.)
So for the next game I’ll be there on time. Should be Argentina vs. South Africa on the next Saturday.
The French supporters were doing such a good job there. The crowd was singing and shouting, cheering and hooting with hundret voices. Great atmosphere. Nice game. Even if England finally won. Was too sad to see all that cheerless faces going out of the pub afterwards :-/
