Albert’s semi-half cousin

Two days ago (while travelling south towards the Washington Bridge on the U.S. Route 9W in New Jersey) Albert saw somebody who looked like he would be a far relative of him. He was very excited in the first place, but soon realised that this fella must have been from the more evil branch of the family. Albert called him his semi-half cousin, but I’m sure that the direct relationship of the two must be at least dozens of generations away.
Overall, we were both very happy that his semi-half cousin didn’t show to be very active besides being not attractive at all.

Firstly, Albert was greating his semi-half cousin with the traditional Ankylosaurier greeting: a big friendly smile:
Albert and Gargoyle

Didn’t work out that well. His semi-half cousin did not seem to be willing to respond with the required friendly smile:

However, Albert wasn’t terrified a lot and faced his semi-half cousin fearlessly:

After the failed friendly greeting ceremony Albert hopped onto his semi-half cousin for a ride. He told me later that his semi-half cousin was very angry about that and found it humiliating, commanding Albert to stop this childish nonsense at once. But as he didn’t change his facial expression Albert thought that it couldn’t be half as bad as his semi-half cousin claimed.

Albert wanted to show me the similarities between him and his semi-half cousin. They both got horns on their head and a tail. However, Albert doesn’t possess wings, which he thought might be funny sometimes. But he was also very lucky that his part of the family lived in gentle conditions over the last generations and redeveloped all the features of battle and fight. (Actually, I can testify that Albert’s claws are still valuable tools for nose pulling. But don’t tell him that I’ve seen him doing that.)

After all, Albert wouldn’t understand what his semi-half cousin was so angry about. Maybe, he thought, he didn’t like all the traffic of the Interstate 9 travelling right in front of his nose all day and all night long?
Albert was very thankful in the end that he lives in a quiet apartment with nice room mates.
And he was also very thankful, that he was born in the right wing of the Ankylosaurier related beings.
